The 155th Separate Marine Brigade is located in Vladivostok and is part of the Pacific Fleet.

On March 13 2022, the brigade reportedly lost 600 servicemen and had another 600 wounded. They were then transferred to Belarus to replace the losses of the Eastern Military District.

In November 2022, there were reports of substantial losses in the brigade in the battles around Pavlivka and Vuhledar in Donetsk. The servicemen of the brigade wrote to Putin, claiming they had lost 300 men in 4 days due to the fault of the commanders.

In February 2023, the brigade suffered massive losses again on the failed offensive on Vuhledar. Footage shows 30 x destroyed Russian combat vehicles, 13 x destroyed tanks, and 12 x destroyed BMPs equaling half a fully functional tank battalion. Members of the brigade attempted to blame the failure on the commanders, however front line footage shows that the Russian forces engaged in ineffective operations, meaning the Brigade were likely made up of newly mobilized soldiers with no training.
