Satellite imagery of the port of Tartus showed several Russian warships moored inside the port. The vessels were identified as the Improved Kilo class submarine Krasnodar, the Steregushchy class corvettes Stoiky and Soobrazitelny, Buyan-M class corvette Orekhovo-Zuyevo as well as the Amur class repair vessel PM-82 and fleet oiler Akademik Pashin.

The Gorshkov class frigate Admiral Kasatonov was observed at the anchorage of Tartus.

Fleet oiler Akademik Pashin was observed on satellite imagery at 85 nautical miles south of Pafos, Cyprus. The vessel is on an eastern heading towards the Syrian port of Tartus. No additional vessels were observed in the near vicinity of the oiler.

Fleet oiler Akademik Pashin departed the Syrian port of Tartus and is reported heading in a western direction. The vessel was reported 31 nautical miles south of Limasol,Cyprus, and might be heading out to sea to refuel the Baltic Fleet corvettes Stoiky and Soobrazitelny.
