Parachim anti-submarine corvettes Kabardino-Balkariya and Aleksin were involved in a live firing exercise at the training ranges in the Baltic Sea. Both vessels engaged and shot down a cruise missile launched by the Nanuchka class missile boat Passat. The missile was engaged with the AK-176 main artillery gun and the AK-630 close in weapon systems.
